The process of creating a company requires strong team effort. Being part of a team is not only about working together on specific tasks. Each team is unique and similar to office settings, virtual teams go through different stages and phases.

One of the main objectives as a leader is Generating confidence. However, it takes a lot of time. I want to share a few tips on how to start building confidence with your remote team now.

Include real-time interaction with regular meetings. Schedule and follow meetings to talk about non-work related topics. 

Create occasions to celebrate after feedback and tough projects. Everybody needs to be appreciated for their efforts. This is one of the best ways to maintain team cohesion over time.

Define your own company culture and mission to create connections. Everybody has to be working together towards a common objective.

Try to act transparently, demonstrating integrity and telling the truth. And, though transparency is not enough to build trust remotely when your co-workers see the effort in making their work experience better, they will more easily trust you.
